Tatra T-805 4x4
This light Terrain truck was introduced in Tatra Koprivnice in 1953 and was used for 30 years in CSLA. The vehicle had great clearnes in hard terrain because of its high chassis clearance which was expressed in swing drive when the vehicle went through landscape roughness. Herewith it gained nickname "Kacena" (Duck) and thanks the high-pitched engine the vehicle gained the second nickname "Komar" (Mosquito).

As the controlling company Tatra was fully busy of heavy vehicles production, was the output of the trucks removed to Prague Avia and then to Mlada Boleslav and for the last time to Skoda in Plzen. The problems with lower vehicles quality and breach of delivery terms resulted in removing the output back to Koprivnice. The vehicles were produced there up to finishing production in 1960.

Army took the most vehicles T-805 in cargo version for different reasons of light transport and by air units in 60th years for tow airplanes MiG-15 and L-29 on airfield. The radio version was quite wide-spread . It was also produced less of cars with oil tank for air-service. House body version as ambulance was also found in every ?SLA army unit. It was also produced limited quantity of T-805 with open cab and folding windscreen. The vehicle was used for transporting combat squad of paratroopers in freight gliders which were in equipment of our air force .
